Let's get real for a second... No one likes being told what to do. Not even when they signed up for a FREE Creative Writing BootyCamp, and asked specifically for someone (me) to tell them what to do.
I get it.
I'm not even mad.
I'm just impressed that instead of saying, "Screw you, Regina! I'm not using this crappy prompt. You can't make me write," you are choosing to advocate for your creative license, and you are seeking alternative inspiration to help get those creative juices flowing!

Good Luck! Hope you found one (or more!) that inspired you. Remember, these are just a jumping off point. They take the pressure off of having to come up with an idea. If they spark a different idea, or the story goes in a completely different direction, you did nothing wrong! There are no rules in creativity. It doesn't have to be good. It doesn't have to get published. It doesn't have to be finished and edited and formatted and marketed and become a best seller - but it could...
